HALDANE, Hilda (Née McMahon) – Mrs. Hilda Haldane at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday October 29, 2017 at the age of 97 years. Beloved wife of the late John Haldane. Loved mother of the late James Haldane (Mary). Cherished grandmother of Arlene and Douglas; great-grandmother of Kayla, Bradley, Brenden, Denisha, Thomas; and great-great grandmother of Lilee and Landon. Loved daughter of the late William and Louisa (née Abbott) McMahon. Predeceased by her siblings: twin sister Kathleen Martin (late Andrew), John (late Ann), Ruth Mooney (late Ed), Irene Dolan (late Frank). Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Wednesday form 7-9 PM. The Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated in the Chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday November 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Rite of committal to follow in St. Columban’s Parish Cemetery.
