Card of Thanks
Adeline MacDonald

We, the family of the late Adeline MacDonald, would like to thank our relatives, friends and neighbours who provided comfort and support during our time of loss. To all those, who attended the wake and funeral, visited, phoned, brought food to our homes, sent flowers ,cards, monetary and charitable donations and had Masses said in her name; your thoughtfulness was overwhelming and much appreciated.
To Fr. J.J. MacDonald and co-celebrants, Fr. Sandy MacNeil and Deacon Greg Murphy, thank you all for the beautiful Mass.
A special thanks to the grandchildren, for participating in the Mass by doing readings, intentions, bringing up the gifts or serving as pallbearers.
The family is grateful to brother-in-law, Gilles and soloist, Patsy for their beautiful and meaningful version of Ave Maria, in Latin as our mother had sung it so often in her earlier years. To the Parish Choir and alter servers who gave their time so willingly, and the CWL for providing a lovely lunch.
A most sincere thank you to Dr. Michel McKeough who our mother held in such high regard for his genuine care and compassion over the years and to Louise for the many kindnesses she showed.
Thanks to Manning and staff of J.M. Jobes Funeral Home for their guidance during such a difficult time.
How truly fortunate we were to have our mother’s positive spirit, warm nature and wisdom, all of which have enhanced our lives. Our mother was a guiding light for us and we will do our best to carry on her remarkable legacy of love.
