Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital on August 8th, 2009 Shirley Roberts aged 69 years. Predeceased by her husband John Roberts, Mother and Father Mary and Bernard Delaney, and brothers Edward and Bernard Delaney. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Bernard Roberts; daughter Cynthia Delaney (Ron Kinsella); Sister and best friend Alisha (Fred Stevenson), Margaret (Frank Upshall), Helen (Fred Sexton), and Mary (Elmer Cook); Grandchildren Kelly O’Neill, Ashley Delaney, John Delaney, Tiffany Delaney, Joshua Green, Victoria Jordan, and Brianna Roberts; Great Grandchildren Jessica Jones, and Nathan Giffard. Also a number of nieces and nephews. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitations on Sunday from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday at 2 p.m. from St.Teresa’s Church. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
