Passed peacefully away on April 17, 2011 at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Center, Mildred Langdon of Botwood. She was 82 years of age. She was predeceased by parents, Eli & Mary Champion; brothers, Harvey, William, Frederick, Herbert; and sister, Effie. Left to mourn are husband, Garfield; son, Selby (Shirley); and daughter, Linda (Cyril Baker). Also leaving to mourn sister, Mabel Thompson; grandchildren, Angie (Jody), Susan, & Sarah-Lynn; great-grandchildren, Logan & Zachary; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Major Calvin Collins conducted funeral services at The Salvation Army Citadel, Botwood on April 19, 2011. Interment followed from the Salvation Army Cemetery, Botwood. Funeral arrange-ments were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood. Pallbearers were close friend; Bruce Regular, grandson-in-law; Jody Brenton, and nephews; Art Langdon, Gerald Langdon, Gerald Champion, & Stephen Champion.
