The family of the late Edward (Ned) Brake would like to thank those who helped in any way to alleviate the sorrow caused by the passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

To those who visited our home, the funeral home, sent sympathy cards, messages, made telephone calls, sent gifts of food, made charitable donations and memorials, we offer our heartfelt thanks.

We send our gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the cancer unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, to Dr. Coleman, Dr. Healy, and Nicole Lafosse. Their care was compassionate and professional with Ned’s needs and wishes utmost in mind. Special thanks to Ruby Randell (sister), Isabel Simms (sister-in-law), Dale Armstrong (niece), Jacqueline and Tommy for all their love and support during this difficult time.

Thank you to Rev. Roberta for a beautiful service, the Choir, to St. Michael’s Uncommon Praise for the wonderful music, to the readers, Don Randell, Christine Watton, and Glenn Simms who participated in the service. Mr. Dwayne Parsons and his staff at Country Haven for their care and professionalism, we will be forever grateful.
