Passed peacefully away at Pleasantview Towers on Monday, November 13, 2017, Peter Joseph Whittle, 27-year employee of Canada Post, age 75 years. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Peter Whittle, his brothers Brian and Randolph and his sisters Maureen Burcham and Mary Hodder. Leaving to mourn his loving wife and best friend of 54 years, Patricia Whittle, his children: Lynn (Frank), Peter (Kim), Eddie (Janine), Kim (Dennis) and Brian (Michelle) and Jamie Purchase, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Dorothy Whittle, brother-in-law Eric Hodder, his nieces, nephews and cousins, especially his life long friends Vince Wiltshire and Louise Purchase. Special thanks to the staff of Pleasantview Towers 3 North East who cared so lovingly for Peter during his stay. Also, special thanks to Debbie Wells for making his last few months so memorable. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul's Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
