Joseph Belliveau
BELLIVEAU, JOSEPH - Joseph Belliveau, 93, of Foyer Saint-Antoine and formerly of Saint-Paul, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2011 following a lengthy illness. Born April 15, 1918 in Saint-Paul, NB, he was the son of the late Dominique and Julie (Cormier) Belliveau. Before his retirement, Joseph worked for Canada Post. He was also a woodsman and enjoyed playing checkers. He is survived by three sisters: Yvonne Poirier of Saint-Antoine, Sr. Rita, ndsc, of Moncton and Alvina Richard of Rogersville, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by six sisters: Zélia, Lucie, Jeanne, Sr. Anna, ndsc, Sr. Dominica, ndsc, and Sr. Maria, ndsc; three brothers: Zoël, Iréné and Edgar.
The family will receive condolences at Saint-Paul R.C. Church Slumber Room on Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint-Paul R.C. Church on Monday May 2, 2011 at 4 p.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Joseph, donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind or to the Foyer Saint-Antoine would be appreciated.
