DAYE, JAMES “JIM” H. - James “Jim” H. Daye, 68, of Shediac and formerly of Blue Bell, with his family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday April 27, 2011. Born in Plaster Rock, he was the son of Bertha (Arsenault) Daye of Moncton and the late Hezekiah Daye. Jim was a retired lumberjack with Fraser Paper Mill Ltd. in Plaster Rock and was retired from Sterling Apple Farms in Gagetown. In addition to his mother, Bertha, Jim (Chub) will be sadly missed by his loving wife of over 45 years, Doreen (Cormier) Daye; his children, Tammy Freeze (Daryl), Wanda Daye (Jean-Claude), Lisa Levesque (Steven), Holly Daye (Eric), Todd Daye (Carmella); eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Sandra, Susan, Kim and Nellie; brothers, John and Gary; several nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Besides his father, he was predeceased by brothers, Tom and David.
In keeping with Jim’s wishes there will be no visitation hours in Moncton. Funeral Service to be held in Plaster Rock at a later date. Interment, Anfield Cemetery.
