Passed peacefully away on November 15, 2017, at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, Wilfred Lane, age 79 years. Predeceased by his infant daughter Muriel Lane. Leaving to mourn are his children: Eugene Lane (Christina), Wanda (Fergus) Linehan and Randy (Kathleen) Martin; grandchildren: Amanda, Ashley, Emily, William and Jenelle; his children's mother and lifetime friend Muriel Martin; Wilfred also leaves two brothers: Steve and Eli, plus several nieces, nephews, and special friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl. Visitation Thursday, November 16 from 7-9 pm and Friday, November 17 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, November 18 at Barrett's Chapel at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wilfred's memory may be made to the H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
