Merle Russell Francis Hewison, age 79 passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in Prince Albert, SK. He was born on October 26, 1931 in Prince Albert, SK. Merle will be lovingly remembered by his wife Rose Hewison (Hennie); his children Lyle Hewison, Mark (Jill) Hewison, Joe (Donna) Tilden, Carla Tilden (Quinn), Terry Tilden (Todd), Karen (Wes) Isbister, Kathy (Eugene) McKay, Kelly (Kathy) Hewison, Tracey (Doug) Taylor and Gayle (Ryan) Hewison; his twenty-six-grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren as well as brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by: his parents Earl and Pearl Hewison; his in laws Carl and Emily Hennie; his brothers Roland Hewison and Terry Hewison; his sons Paul Russell Hewison and Merle (Sonny) Gordon Hewison; his granddaughter Misty Dawn and his Goddaughter Ella Arlene Brown. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Reverend Tony Thompson will officiate. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date.
