It is with much sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Paul Joseph Hartery, age 43, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, April 27th, 2011. Paul is predeceased by his parents, Sarah and Dermot Hartery. He will be sadly missed by his best friend and life committed partner, Brenda Pinsent. Also leaving to mourn are his children: Justin, James and step-son Nicholas; his brothers: Derm (Sherry), Shawn (Lynn); sisters: Debbie Hannon (Jim), Geraldine Nightingale, Janice Dwyer (Frank), Elaine Norris (Paul), twin sister Paulette Ivany (Wayne), Sherry Samson (Reg) and Tina; the Pinsent family; special friends Marg and Edgar Beckett; Marylou, mother of James and Justin; his friends and co-workers at East-Ex and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Paul will be resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Friday, April 29th, from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 30th, at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
