From 1967 - 1971 he returned to Canada to serve as Director of the Scarboro Missions Formation House in Antigonish, NS. at his beloved St. Francis Xavier University from which he graduated. Fr. Lionel is predeceased by his parents Margaret and Frederick Walsh and his brother Andre. He is survived by his sisters: Sr. Mary Walsh RSM (Mercy Convent, St. John's, Nfld.), Sr. Margaret Walsh O.L.M., Toronto, Denise (Fox) of Montreal and Charlotte (Fraser) of Baddeck, NS.
