NEW GLASGOW – Marek Koziel, 53, of New Glasgow, passed away suddenly, Friday, April 29, 2011.
Born in Lowicz, Poland, he was the son of the late Jozef and Franciszka Koziel.
Marek was owner and operator of the Fish and Chips Wagon on the Trenton Road.
Surviving are his wife, Maria Krystyna (Wodras) Koziel; daughter, Malgorzata, Poland; son, Hubert, Poland; step-daughters, Karolina, Poland; Marta, USA; sister, Krystyna and family, Poland.
The family will receive visitors from 1-1:50 p.m. Monday in P & K MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow, from where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with Father Gary MacPherson presiding. Donations in memory of Marek may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
