Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital, in the presence of her loving family, on Monday, August 10, 2009, aged 77 years. Predeceased by her first husband, Neil Healey (1967) and husband Kevin Dowden (2008); daughter Wanda and her brother Harold. She leaves to mourn her loving family, daughters: Karen Healey (Cyril Squires), Glenna Healey; son Rick Healey (Elaine), Edmonton, AB; four grandsons: Jefferey, Justin, Neil and Braden; stepson Bob Dowden (Beattie); step-daughter Cathy (Fred Skinner); step-grandchildren: Renee, Kevin, Bobby, Ashley and Cheryl; brothers: Peter (Dorothy), Tommy (Doreen), Don, Ontario; sisters: Marlene (Bob Ettleman), CA, Matilda Mayse, CA, Anita (Louis Armstrong), Trixie (Raymond Sullivan), Mercedes (Bren Tobin), Mildred (George Reeves), CA; sisters-in-law: Mary Hawkins, Kay Smith and Chloe Healey and brothers-in-law: Gerard Healey (Irene), Angus Dowden, Derm and Brendan Bennett; also a large number of other relatives and friends including special friends: Genevieve and Bill Dunphy, as well as the Senior’s Club in Witless Bay. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Tuesday, August 11th and Wednesday, August 12th from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Witless Bay on Thursday, August 13th, 2009 at 2 p.m. Internment to follow at Holy Sepulchre R.C. Cemetery, St. John’s.
