ANDERSON, BARRY EARL - Barry Earl Anderson, 57, of River Glade passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at his home after a brief illness. Born in New Glasgow, NS, he was a son of Earl and Jean (Boudreau) Anderson of Moncton. He was a sincere and caring man who lived life to its fullest. He enjoyed the simple things in life like fishing and hunting trips with the boys, four wheeling, Bar-B-Q's at the camp, telling a good joke and Sunday suppers with his family whom he loved dearly. Barry was a hard worker all his life and well respected by co-workers and friends. He was employed with Traction. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Iris (Beaman); daughters Shawlene Harper (Alan) and Cindy MacDonald (Weldon); six beautiful grandchildren Joshua, Chase, Aaron, Hillaree, Oliver, Kaiya and a grandson and granddaughter on the way. His parents Harry Earl and Jean; sisters Jackie McDonald (Bruce) and Rhonda Leslie (Greg); brother David (Lorraine); brother in law Murray Lewis; sisters in law Catherine Higgs (Bob), Karen Drew (Jim), Doris Crawford (Lindsey); father in law Alvin Beaman; brothers in law Byron Beaman (Eileen), Chris Beaman (Yvette) and James Beaman (Ferne) and many nieces and nephews. Barry is predeceased by brothers Ronald and Shawn; sister Debbie Lewis and sister in law Susan Saulnier.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) the family will receive guests Tuesday, May 3 from 7 to 9 pm and from where the funeral will be held Wednesday, May 4 at 11 am, Rev. David Morehouse officiating with refreshments to follow. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery. In Barry's memory donations, if desired, to the IWK or charity of choice would be appreciated.
