Passed away suddenly at the Health Science Centre, on Monday, November 27, 2017, Cornelius "Con" Dobbin, of Gaskiers, St. Mary's Bay, aged 79 years. Predeceased by parents Patrick and Margaret Dobbin; brothers Gordon, Fabian (Margaret) and Harold (Frances) and sisters Marcella (Valentine) Meehan and Anna Dobbin and brother-in-law Fred Watson. Leaving to mourn with fond memories, his loving wife Margaret (nee Aylward), daughter Brenda (Bruce) Young, sons Paul (Trina) and Neil, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sister Mary-Theresa Watson and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Wednesday, November 29, from 2-4 pm (family only); 4-9 pm (public viewing) and Thursday, November 30, 10 am - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, December 1, at 10 am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's. Burial to follow.
