CROZIER – Claire (nee McLaughlin)
Born in Edmonton, AB to Samuel and Corinne McLaughlin (nee Marsden) on March 1, 1926. Claire passed away in her sleep on August 9, 2009. Claire is loved and remembered by her husband of 59 years Raymond Crozier; her children, Marion (Al) Riddell, Gord (Anne) Crozier, Larry (Margaret) Crozier, Lorraine (Norbert) Engel, and Matthew (Bev) Crozier. Claire was blessed with several grandchildren; Cheryl (Brent) Olberg, Jeff Crozier, Alana Burgler, Danny (Nicole) Crozier, Derek (Amanda) Riddell, Crystal (Darcey Grimard) McKay, Mark McKay, Maddie Engel, Alex Engel, Abby Crozier. Claire had the special delight of great-grandchildren; Ashley and Allyson Olberg, Shae McKay and Courtney, Alexis and Tianna Grimard, Blake and Mackenzy Riddell, and Ray Crozier. Claire has one surviving sibling, Mary Robinson of Calgary, AB as well as several nieces and nephews. Claire received her nursing education at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. We shared many good laughs with stories from her training days. Claire was passionate about her work and we never doubted her commitment to her profession over the years. Never one to mince words, in her own way Mom encouraged each of us to follow our own path in life and took pride in everyone’s accomplishments. Claire loved her grandchildren and thoroughly enjoyed their company. She adored books and was a voracious reader. Claire would comment that there would always be time to get dishes done later so golf while you can. She was right. We are sad now and will miss Claire, no one more than Dad. We love you mom.
