The families of the late Shirley R. (Barss) MacDonald wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone for their kindness and concern in our recent loss. Thanks to all who sent emails, cards, flowers, food, and memorial donations and to those who visited, telephoned or traveled great distance to we with us. Special thanks to all those who took part in the services including the Pallbearers (grandsons), scripture readers (granddaughters), Rev. Thomas Whent for a beautiful meditation and eulogy, Rev. Dana Feltmate, the senior choir and the Keltic Chorus Quartet, accompanied by organist Clare Rodgers. Thank you to the UCW for a lovely luncheon and to all other participants and contributors. Special thanks to the devoted staff at Harbourstone Enhanced Care, especially those of Fisherman's Cove, for their care and kindness. We extend sincere thanks to Wayne Weatherbee and staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel for their professionalism and personal touch at this difficult time. Mum - you will be missed.
