We, the family of the late David Wadden, would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for all the love and support shown to us during our recent loss. To our family, friends, neighbor’s, extended families and coworkers, thank you for always being there. To those who visited us, offered words of comfort through sympathy cards, online condolences, telephone calls, texts, mass cards, sent floral arrangements and those who gave memorial donations in David’s memory, thank you. Thank you to those who brought food to our homes, helped in any way they could, attended the wake and funeral services and traveled from away to be with us, your presence and kind words were overwhelming and great comfort to us. Thank you to Fr. Norman MacPhee for the many hospital visits. Thank you to Fr. Anthony O’Connor and Fr. Norman MacPhee for the celebration of the funeral liturgy. Thank you to the readers; Patricia Bray, Keith MacDonald and Derrick Hayes, Gift Bearers; Michael Boutilier and Jamie Wadden. Thank you also to his pall bearers; Brian Betts, Allan Bray, Dwight Brown, Lynn Cuzner, Morah Hemsworth and John MacLeod, each of you were very special to him. Thank you to organist Jimmy McNeil, the choir and soloist Nina MacDonald-Chaisson; such a beautiful tribute to a great man. Thank you to the lunch committee for the wonderful reception following the service. To all those who gave David such a tremendous send off, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, he would have been truly amazed and so very proud. Thank you to David’s health care team; Dr. Rose MacKay, Dr. Diane MacLachlan and Dr. Michael Gallivan for your care, support and visits. Dr. Sivakumar Annamalai, Dr. Johnathon Trites (Halifax), Dr. Wissam Saliba, Dr. A. Mahmoud-Ahmed, Dr. Daniel Rayson (Halifax), Dr. John Ritter, Dr. Kevin McNeil, Dr. Stephanie Ellerker we can’t possible thank you enough for all that you did for David. To the staff of the Cape Breton Cancer Centre, the Glace Bay ER Department and 3 East, your kindness and compassion made David’s battle so much more manageable. Lastly, to the staff at T.J Tracey’s Cremation and Burial Specialists we appreciate your compassion, exemplary service, professionalism and support. To anyone who helped lessen our sorrow during such a devastating time and continue to do so, we thank you. Your love, support and kindness will always be remembered and so very appreciated.
