O’KEEFE, Charles — Passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family, at the Lion’s Manor Nursing Home on Saturday, November 1, 2008, Charlie O\'Keefe, age 85 years, of Southeast, Placentia (formerly Harbour Grace). Predeceased by his Mother and Father, Bride and Daniel; brothers Ron, Frank, Ed, Tommy, and Gregory; sisters, Margaret and Marie; sister-in-law, Sheila; brother-in-law, Mac; nephews Jerome and Bob; special granddaughter, Charlotte. He leaves to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Ruby (Lynch); sons and daughters Dan (Pat), Charlie (Selena), Carol Anne (Eric), Beatrice (Cyril), John, Chris (Judy), Steve, Frank (Rae Lynn), and one brother, John of Harbour Grace; as well as his cherished grandchildren (Kurt, Pamela, Charlie, Neil, Eric, Jake, Ben, Jordan) and great-grandchild (Rylea). Also leaving to mourn many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends including members of the Lynch family. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia, Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia. Interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery in Southeast. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Sacred Heart Parish Placentia, or a charity of your choice.
