Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home in the presence of his loving family on Saturday, April 30, 2011, Joseph King aged 90 years of Colinet, St. Mary’s Bay. Predeceased by his wife Isabella (nee Linehan) (July 1978). Left with fond and loving memories are his children: Len (Barb), Yvonne Callahan (Bruce), Darlene Linehan (Mike), Wayne (Darlene) & Elaine Barron (Michael), 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, his sister: Teresa Palfrey, numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Our Lady of Grace Church, Colinet. Visitation on Sunday from 5 - 9 p.m., Monday from 2 - 5 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., and Tuesday 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Funeral will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 with Mass of Christian Burial from Our Lady of Grace Church, Colinet. Interment will be in R.C. Cemetery, Colinet. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
