LEGER-WALLS, EMILY - Emily Leger-Walls of Plaster Rock passed away at Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital on April 30, 2011. Born in South Branch, NB, on December 27, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary (MacDonald) Hudson. Emily leaves behind her children Susan Martel of Chilliwack, BC, Virginia Leger (Eric Levesque) of Plaster Rock, William Leger (Glenda) of Fords Mills, Jerry Leger (Margie) of Fords Mills, Eugene Leger of St. Margaret's, NB, Tim Leger (Ingrid) of Rexton, NB; her sister Frances Cail of Rexton, NB; 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Eymard Leger; her second husband David Walls; sisters Mildred Savoie, Bessie Kervin, Tenie Pinette, Lucrtia McLaughlin, Anita McEleveny, Cordelia Murphy, and Mayne Theriault; brothers Tommy and Charles Hudson.
Resting at the Tobique Chapel in Plaster Rock with visitation on Thursday 1 to 3 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 3 pm from the chapel. Mr. Harold Short-Evans will celebrate. On Saturday, May 7, 2011 a celebration of Emily's life will be held at the South Branch Church Hall at 3 pm. Visitation at the hall will precede the celebration from 1 to 3 pm. Interment will be in South Branch, NB. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
