Peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, of Sharlene Marie Underhay (nee Gauthier) of Fortune, age 50 years.
Beloved wife of Bill Underhay and cherished daughter of Evelyn and the late Frank Gauthier and daughter-in-law of Leslie and Pauline Underhay. Dear sister of Sandra (Rupert) MacBeath, Susan (Ross) Woodward, Shelley (Lorne) MacDougall, Stephen (Valerie) Gauthier and Sharon (Ken) Martin. Much loved aunt of Danielle, Jennifer and Steven, Jeffrey and Jill, Holly, Jason and Nicole, Megan and Michael; and close friend, Karen Ellis.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Saturday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Bay Fortune United Church Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
