Beloved husband of Helen (nee McMurrer). Cherished Daddy of Samantha and Tyler. Loving son of Rene (Feet) Langer and the late Fred Langer of Cape Breton, N.S. Brother of Freddie, Mary Alice Burns (Mick, deceased), Billy and Earl. Survived by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jean McMurrer (Sonny, deceased), Joan McCloskey (Austin), Kevin McMurrer (Linda), Ann McMurrer (Steve Gosnell), Anita Edwards (Kevin), Jimmy McMurrer (Lilla MacWilliams), David McMurrer (Angela); special aunts, Mary, Annie, Frances, Minnie, Pauline, Anita; uncle, Simon; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents-in-law, David and Louise McMurrer.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Friday at 1 p.m., then to St. Joseph’s Church, Kelly’s Cross, for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Langer Children’s Trust Fund.
