On December 12, 2017 at the Prince County Hospital Ruth Elaine Cutcliffe (nee Thomson) passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her children with dignity, grace and a great sense of humour right to the very end after a quick and courageous battle with cancer. Ruth was the mother of Michael Cutcliffe of North Tryon and Jeanne (Ron) Annear of Montague. Proud grandmother of her three cherished and adored grandsons: Joshua Annear (Carley McQuaid), Lethbridge, Alberta; Cody Annear, Charlottetown; and Jesse Annear, Montague. She will also be dearly missed by her loving siblings: Lillian Roper, Millie MacEachern, Joyce Campbell, Raymond Thomson and Elizabeth (Alger) Cutcliffe. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Gordon Cutcliffe. A sincere and heartfelt thank you to all those involved in mom’s care, especially to Dr Kelly, to nurse Amber whose compassion and comforting ways gave us great support which went above and beyond - we can’t thank you enough and of course a special thanks to Nancy MacFadyen who so patiently lent an ear and support in our time of need.
