CARD OF THANKS
Catherine Elizabeth “Kaye” Flynn
July 5, 2009
We would like to express our gratitude to all whose kindness helped to ease our loss in the recent passing of our aunt, Kaye Flynn. Whether you phoned, sent Mass or sympathy cards, contributed gifts of food or made memorial donations in Kaye’s name, we appreciate your thoughtfulness. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Kaye’s grandnieces and close friends who helped to care for her during the months of her illness. Kaye will be sadly missed and fondly remembered not only by her family but also by her friends, especially Rita MacGillivray, a close companion for many years. Kaye’s extended family was very important to her and she would have appreciated their participation in her funeral service. We, therefore, want to thank her niece, nephews, grandniece and grandnephews who served as pallbearers, readers and giftbearers. Kaye would have been very proud of you. We extend a special thank you to the nurses, alumni, and co-workers from St. Joseph’s and the Glace Bay Community Hospital who formed the Honor Guard, Your tribute was a touching reminder of Kaye’s 40 years as an RNA in Pediatrics. Also, we wish to thank Father Leo Boone whose gospel reading and homily so fittingly highlighted Kaye’s role as a caregiver as well as her enduring faith. Suzanne Gracie and her choir members helped to make the Mass a beautiful and moving ceremony and we sincerely thank you for providing such uplifting and inspirational music. Finally, to the McGillivray Funeral Home staff, we thank you for your compassion and professionalism during this difficult time.
(Nephew) Greg and Marilyn Currie
