Passed peacefully away on Dec. 12th at Glenbrook Lodge Helen Elizabeth Hood in her 103rd year. Predeceased by husband Daniel (1988), son Jim (2004). Helen was also predeceased by parents Alfred and Lillian Worrall, siblings James, Beryl, Doris and Cynthia. Celebrating Helen's life with very loving and amusing memories are son Rod (Barb), daughter Heather O'Connell (Dan), grandsons Bryan Hood (Reneé) and their daughters Rayleen and Katie, Curtis Hood (Paula) Red Deer Alta. Steve O'Connell (Michelle), Mike O'Connell (Adelle) and their daughters Brianna and Keira, Brisbane Australia, also other relatives and friends especially those at Glenbrook Lodge. The family would like to thank the excellent staff who made Glenbrook a loving caring home for Helen. As per Helen's wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday December 16, 2017 from 7 PM - 9 PM and Sunday December 17 from 2 PM - 4 PM and 7 PM - 9 PM. A memorial service will be held on Monday December 18 at 2 PM at Barrett’s Chapel. In lieu of flowers think of Helen when you brighten someone's day.
