1937 -2009. Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Care Center in the presence of his loving family on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, John Stephen Cochrane, retired member of UA Local 740. Predeceased by parents Mary & William, four brothers Pat, Danny, Jim & Billy, one sister Eileen. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 51 years, Joan (Caul); sons: John (Maxine), Paul (Loretta), Brian (Alana); daughters: Margie (Eric Hillyard) & Joanne (Jeff Barron and daughter Emily); grandchildren: Scott & Colin Cochrane, Shannon & Justin Cochrane (Stacey), Amy & Adam Cochrane, Jillian & Shane Hillyard; brother Mike Cochrane (Diane); sisters: Annie Traverse (Ferndale), Catherine McCully, San Antonia, Tx & Mary Dwyer, Gander; special great-niece Katie; his fishing buddy Alf Barnett (Marg), also a large number of other relatives and friends, Resting at Coombs Funeral Home on Thursday, August 13, 3-10 p.m. & Friday August 14, 2-10 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday August 15, 2009 at 11:00 at St. Anne’s Church, Dunville.
