Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 1, 2011, aged 83 years. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Beth) (nee Howlett), infant daughter, daughter Marina, sister Margaret (Chesley Chafe), brothers: Willie and Gerald (Philomena). Left with fond and loving memories his children, daughters: Sharon Harte (Kevin), Patricia Byrne (John), Linda (Tom Cheeseman); sons: David (Wendy Masey), Paul (Heather), Ken (Marlene), and Donnie (Sandy Norris); 14 cherished, loving grandchildren who will miss their Pop; Kerry, Jonathan, Rick, Nicole, Krista, Kyle, Michelle, Michael, Mark, Matthew, Ryan, Danielle, Ronnie and Natasha; sisters: Annie Shepherd (Len - Deceased), Mary Chafe and Eileen Chafe; brothers: Bob (Dot — deceased), John (Margaret); also many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital and The Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Monday, May 2nd, from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Tuesday, May 3rd, from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 4th, at 10 a.m. from St. Kevin’s Church, Goulds. Cremation to follow.
