Miles, Gwendolyn Louise Passed peacefully away at the Holyles Escasoni Complex on May 2, 2011, Gwen Miles aged 90 years. Predeceased by her husband Ronald; sisters: Ada Fontain (Jim), Mary Dawe (Bill), Rene Havaaldsen (Nels), Marina Dawe (Mackie), Edith Ryan (Bill); brothers: Raymond Keefe (Dorothy), Irving Keefe (Phyllis), Calvin Keefe (Edna). Leaving to mourn son David and his daughter Morgan VanHaden (Matt) and their children: Logan and Augustus; son Calvin (Bernice) and their children Jane O’Neill (Heath) and their children Sophie, Sarah and Jennifer Miles (Chris King) and their son Isaac; son Peter (Julia Bloomquist) and their son Edwin; son Brian and his children Keltie (Richard Wilson) and their children Caleb, Jordie, son drew (Chesley); daughter Linda (Randolph Crocker) and their children Sarah, Helen and Marc; also leaving to mourn sisters: Janette Keefe and Elsa (Roy Batten) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. At Gwen’s request cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank the staff at Cambridge Estates and Hoyles North 1 for the excellent care and respect shown to Gwen during her stay. Funeral service took place from Carnell’s Memorial Chapel on Wednesday May 4, 2011 with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
