THURBER, GEORGE (BUSTER) W. - George (Buster) W. Thurber, 78, of Moncton, with his loving family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday morning, May 3, 2011. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late George B. and Inez (Hillman) Thurber. Buster was retired from CNR Freight (Route Canada), with 38 years service. He enjoyed gardening, bowling, walking, woodworking, skating, watching hockey and baseball games on television, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his special great grandson, Donovan. Buster will be sadly missed by the love of his life, his wife of 55 years, Glenda (Roberts); his children, Darrell (Karen), Kate Reddick (Melvin) and Cynthia Thurber, all of Moncton; precious grandchildren, April, Storme, Sabrina, Colton, Taylor Jade and Paige; cherished great grandson, Donovan; sister, Linda Melvin, Moncton; special niece, Tammy; special great niece, Brianna; brother-in-law, Harold and Shirley Roberts and family.
