It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Derm McDonald on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the age 56 years. Predeceased by his parents: Nicholas and Mary and his sister Sharon. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his devoted wife Wynnanne (nee Tobin); children: Nick (Sue), Christine (Colin) Piercey and Stephanie (Josh) Besaw; grandchildren: Noelle, Alexander and Kenneth McDonald; brothers: Wayne and Keith (Jean); sisters: Kay (Ronnie) Tilley, Maureen (Bill) Roberts, Mary (Paul) Eddy, and Cindy (John) Lidstone, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The McDonald family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic for their continuous compassions and care for Derm over the last 6 years. Your kindness will always be remembered. At Derm’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave. on Monday, December 18, and Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. from Barrett’s Chapel, Mt.
