DESROCHES, LOUIS E. - The death of Louis E. DesRoches occurred on April 8, 2011 at the Cheshire Nursing Home in Keene, New Hampshire. He was born in Drummondville, Quebec on February 27, 1926 to Eugene DesRoches and Sousy (Daigle) DesRoches. Besides his parents, Louis was predeceased by his loving sisters Josephine DesRoches (1965) and Melita Thibodeau (1968), his nephew Eugene (Buddy) Thibodeau (1964) and two of his nieces Patricia (Patsy) Fillmore (1997) and Mary Lou (Thibodeau) Girouard (2009). Louis is survived by his nephews David “Corky” (Margaret), Joe (Nan) and Douglas Thibodeau and his niece Susan (Jim) Hope, all of Saint John, as well as several great-nieces, great- nephews and numerous cousins in Canada and the United States.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Peter Stephen at 12 Noon on Thursday May 5, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Rockland Road. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Westmorland Road. Also being interred at this time will be the ashes of niece Mary Lou (Thibodeau) Girouard.
