It is with great sadness that the family of the late Chesley Knight announce his passing at his residence on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011 at the age of 88 years. He will be sadly missed by his dear and special friend Ida Marie Young, one son Robert (Phyllis) in Kippens, two daughters Carol Knight in Prince Edward Island and Barbara (Larry) Kendall in Lower Cove. Also leaving to mourn are his grandchildren: Jackie, Betty Ellen, Christopher, Sheldon, Candace, Bobbie Lynn, Jacentha, his great-grandchildren: Abbigail, Myia, Rogan, Lucas, Madia, his niece Yvette Knight and a large circle of relatives and friends. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville from 2-4 and 7-9 on Thursday, funeral service will take place on Friday, May 6th at 2 p.m. from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church on Hillview Avenue in Stephenville with Rev. Canon Dawn Barrett officiating. Interment will take place in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
