It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert Sweetland, of Bonavista, announces his passing after a short battle with cancer on April 23rd. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife or 35 years Maxine and his children Dean and Stephen (Kelly). Bob will also be fondly remembered by his three grandchildren Bobbi, Dylan and Shayne. He is survived by his sister Barbara (Lawrence), several nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. A funeral service in memory of Bob was held on Tuesday, April 26th, at Christ Anglican Church in Bonavista with Reverend John Gillam officiating.
