On Tuesday, December 19, 2017, as snowflakes fell gently outside her window, a chorus of Edith’s family members sang her home. Her loving husband, Ron, held her hand. Edith will be forever remembered as the devoted mother of Deanne (Mark), Cara (Andrew), and Trevor (Allison). She was the proud grandmother of Carly, Elisha, Riley, Suleyni, Miguelina, Miguel, Max, Eric, Laine, and A.J., and great-grandmother of Kyree. Edith was a beloved sister to Millie (the late Don Campbell), Dorothy (Gordon) Burton, Garth (Trinkie) Coffin, Eleanor (Roger) Birt, special twin brother Edgar (Penny) Coffin, and sister-in-law to Bill (Heather) Giggey. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Alice Coffin. She was a cherished aunt, and truly was a cornerstone of the close family who feel blessed and fortunate to have had her for the time we did. Edith will also be missed by a treasured group of close friends. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Friday from Park Royal United Church at 11 a.m. Interment later in Sherwood Cemetery.
