ANDREWS, Gary - 43, Bible Hill. It is with great sadness that Gary’s family announces his sudden passing on August 11, 2009. Born in Middle Musquodoboit, he was the son of Shirley Andrews, Truro and the late Neil Andrews. Gary was an employee of Michelin Tire, Granton where he worked for the past 21 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and for many years he skied, played golf and enjoyed fishing, but his greatest love was his motorcycles. He made many treasured friendships through his bike riding. Gary was frequently known to enjoy the company of many friends at Tim Hortons in Bible Hill.

Left to mourn are his mother Shirley (Higgins) Andrews, Truro, sisters Diane(Wendell) Park, Greenfield; Kerry Andrews (Peter Banks), Bible Hill; and his longtime love Ella MacNeil, Truro; nephew Stephen Banks, niece Laura Banks; aunts Mary Stevens (Jim Morrison), Sussex, NB; Ola Cole, Meaghers Grant; many cousins and friends. Visitation will be held 6-8pm Wednesesday August 18 at the Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Funeral services will be held 1pm Thursday August 19, 2009 at the Higginsville United Church, Higginsville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family flowers only, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
