Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the L.A. Miller Centre on May 2, 2011, Fred Thomas Ezekiel, aged 63. Predeceased by his parents William and Elizabeth, sister Marg, brother Pat, two infant brothers Walter and William, two nephews Johnny Ezekiel and Cornelius O’Leary, niece Christine Mcdonald, parents-in-law Eric and Hilda Abbott. Leaving with precious memories his loving wife Marilyn of 43 years; daughter Colleen Seward (Gary), son William (Kayla), six cherished grandchildren Darrin (Vanessa), Melissa, Shailynn, Justin, William, Joseph; along with two great-grandchildren Kolton and Ella whom he adored. Also leaving to mourn two brothers John (Kay) and Neil (Linda); two sisters Elizabeth (John), Christine (Jim); two sisters-in-law Lorraine Thorne (Philip) and Sandra Neary (Ron); three special nieces Lorie, Allison and Megan. A special thank you to Fred’s wonderful homecare worker Mary Hynes for her care and compassion. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 2-9 p.m. and Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. A celebration of Fred’s life will take place on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at the Carnell Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery on Bell Island.
