Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center in Grand Falls-Windsor, in his 93rd year. Predeceased by wife Ethel (1997), sons Phillip (1956) and George (1984), granddaughter Rebecca (2006), brothers Harry (1963), Donald (2004), and Gordon (1991) and sister Olive Driscoll (2011). Leaving with fond and loving memories, sons: Keith (Gail) of Upper Gullies, Randy (Violet) of Bay Roberts and Tom (Heidi) of Airdrie, AB; grandchildren: Janet, Heather Rowsell (Jeff), Andrew, Brittany, Morgan, Sarah and Hannah; great-grandson Porter Rowsell; sisters: Gladys Benson and Shirley Pelley (Cecil), and brothers: Herbert (Jennie) and David (Leslie). Cremation has taken place per West’s request. Remains resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl. Visitation Thursday, May 5, 2011, 7-9 p.m., Fri., May 6, 2011, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service 10 a.m., Sat., May 7, 2011 at Barrett’s Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt.
