BADCOCK, Carl W.–Born at his beloved Bishop’s Beach, Bay Roberts on October 5, 1934, Mr. Carl William Badcock, aged 74 years, of Bay Roberts, passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, November 3, 2008, in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his parents William J. and Lizzie (nee Bishop) Badcock; brother Winston; brother-in-law Donald Morgan. Left with many precious memories are his wife Shirley (nee Newell); two sons: Carl Jr. (Debby), Scott (Carolann); two daughters: Judy (Michael) Frank, Susan (Keith) Mercer; two sisters: Mabel Morgan, Marie (Lorne) Gifford; one brother Wallace (Doris); brother-in-law John (Bin) Newell; nine grandchildren: Michael (Gerri), Amy (Steven), Amanda (Scott), Stacey (Melvin), Stephen, Aaron, Jonah, Justin, Maggie; four great-grandchildren: Alexander, Tyler, Johnny, Emily Lynn; sister-in-law Doreen Porter, and a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts on Wednesday, November 5th, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Central United Church, Bay Roberts. Inurnment in the Central United Church Cemetery, Bay Roberts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central United Church Sunday School, Bay Roberts.
