We, the family of the late Linda Ann MacLean wish to express our sincere thanks to all who shared their love and support with us during our recent bereavement. For that special community family, friends and neighbors and co-workers who comforted us with visits, brought food to our home, sent flowers, memorial donations, sympathy cards, Mass cards, e-mails and travelled great distances to be with us, we are truly grateful. Your thoughtfulness will always be remembered. To Dr. Mark Ellerker and staff, the staff of Glace Bay Hospital ER and 3 South and the staff of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Palliative Care, thank you for your compassion and professional care. Thank you to Rev. John Finlayson for your comforting words and celebration of Linda’s life, Knox United Church Organist and Choir, Knox UCW for the beautiful lunch, the readers Cathy MacAulay and Dianne MacDonald and the soloists Isabel MacDonald and Jim MacQuarrie for your rendition of “Out on The Mira”. Thank you to the pallbearers Allan, Rodney and Mark MacLean, Donald, Robert and Ian MacQueen – your Aunt Linda would be very proud of you. A very special thank you to all the Canada Post Employees for the Honor Guard at the Church Service. To Vina, Angus, Vince and staff of Patten Funeral Home, thank you for guiding us through this most difficult time. The kindness and thoughtfulness shown to us will remain with us forever.
