Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Chapel’s Cove, at the age of 76 years. Predeceased by her parents Aiden and Mabel, sisters Nora and Gladys, brothers Fred, Eric and Arnold, her children Raymond and Mary and grandson David. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 56 years, William; loving children: Marilyn (Ron), Thomas Francis (Julie), Leo, Des, Doreen, Angela (Pat), Bertha, Linda, Billy and Madeline (Joe); brothers: Larry, Harold (Nancy) and Raymond Gibbons; brothers and sisters-in-law: fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. At Genevieve’s request, cremation has taken place. No visitation or funeral service will take place. Donations in her memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
