The death occurred at Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary on Sunday, December 24, 2017 of Lila Naomi MacKenzie of O’Leary aged 77. Born on April 6, 1940, daughter of the late Lewis Havelock and Annie Belle (Gillis) MacKenzie. Dear sister of Margaret MacMillan, sister in law to Lila Mae MacKenzie and Verna MacKenzie. Lila is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Predeceased by her parents, sisters, Bernice (Jamie) MacWilliams, Josie (Lowell) Clements, Pearl (Foster) Hierlihy-Parker, Annie (Lyle) Sweezy, Alwyn (John) Smallman, brothers, Charles, Jack (Olive), Albert, Lewis (Jeanette), Donald and brothers in law Albert MacMillan, and Sidney Parker. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Thursday, December 28 from 1 p.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment in the Mount Royal Peoples Cemetery.
