Passed peacefully sleeping, surrounded by family and friends at the Miller Centre on December 22, 2017, at age 67. Predeceased by her parents Gertrude and Maurice Barry and her adoptive parents Louise and Norman Myles. Leaving behind her husband Butch; sons: Dameian and Ryan (Nathalie and Rebecca); granddaughter Alexis Brenda; sisters: Daphne, Wanda, Judith, Deborah; brother Adam; and a large extended circle of family and friends from here at home and across the globe. Brenda is remembered as a true friend, a woman of independence, confidence, and strength, and an inspiration to those around her. She will be truly missed. Visitation will be at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Thursday, December 28th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to be held from St. Peter’s Parish, Ashford Drive, on Friday, December 29th, at 9:30 am. Interment to take place at later date.
