Jean Martin passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the age of 95 years. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Jean was born in Saskatoon on February 1, 1916. Jean had a great love of music and drama which she used in educating and adjudicating students in voice and the performing arts. She was predeceased by her husband Rev. Allan Martin, her parents Walter and Betty Harrington, brother Dr. Bob (Betty) Harrington and sister Marilou (Roy) Will. Jean is survived by her two daughters Diane (Doug) Tegart of Australia and Darcy (Jeff) Avery of North Dakota, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Frances Morrison of Saskatoon and Phyllis (Grant) McOrmond of Victoria, B. C., numerous nieces and nephews as well as her God-daughter Joan Hugg who was very instrumental in Jean's care. Jean will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her.
