It is with great sadness, the family of the late Leonard Hutchings announce his passing at the Health Science Center, St. John’s at the age of 91 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Isaac (Maureen) Hutchings, Lethbridge, NL; Carrie (Don) Murrin, St. John’s, NL; Hattie (Leo) Emberley, Fort McMurray, AB; Elaine (Ron) Pittman, Torbay, NL; Chris Hutchings, Stephenville, NL; Faron (Kim) Hutchings, Rocky Mountain House, AB; Calvin (Karla) Hutchings, Fort McMurray, AB; and Lorraine (Perry) Muise, Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren: Colin, Kirk, Craig, Tina, David, Crystal Lee, Nadine, Dustin, Ashley, Trent, Brittany, Danielle, Jonathon, and Kristen; great-grandchildren: Brandon, Joshua, Cassidy, Paytin, Ashton, Elliot, and Brooke as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn, sons Marvin and Richard, and grandsons Darryl and Calvin Jr. The family will be receiving friends from the Anglican Church, St. Paul’s beginning Saturday, May 7 from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jean Brenton-Hickman officiating. Interment to follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted, or donations may be made to the Anglican Church of St. Paul’s, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
