Passed away suddenly in the comfort of her family, Margaret Mary (Clare) Furtado, on December 26, 2017, formerly of St. John’s, NL. Predeceased by her father and mothers. Leaving to mourn her sister Betty Ann (Bill Vater); special friend Bernadette White; her very best friend, her poodle Molly, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. At Clare’s request, cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass to take place from Mary Queen of Peace Church on Friday December 29, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. with inurnment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Clare’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
