Passed peacefully away on Monday, December 25, 2017 at Pleasant View Towers, Violet Mary LeGrow, at the age of 97 years. Predeceased by husband Matthew LeGrow; son Reginald LeGrow; parents: Ernest and Maude Lidstone; brother Reginald. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Carol (Robert) Norman; sister Jean Thoms; sister-in-law Kathleen Flight (Littleton, Massachusetts); grandchildren: Sherri (Steve May), Karen, Aimee, Steven, Christina; great-grandchildren: Tyler, Jack, Zoe, Violet, Sam, Holly and Madison; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017, and from 10-12 a.m. on Friday, December 29. Funeral Service will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 from Barrett’s Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or in lieu of flowers donations in Violet’s memory may be made to The Diabetic Association, The Janeway Foundation or The Alzheimer's Society.
