The death occurred peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer with her husband by her side and with the presence of her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday, August 15, 2009 of Eva Arsenault of Abram Village. Beloved wife of Blair Arsenault and loving mother of Brielle. Eva was born on April 22, 1965 to her parents the late Victorin Arsenault and Claudia (nee Gallant) of St. Raphael, P.E.I. Along with her mother, she is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Albin of Summerside, Adrien (Stella) of St. Raphael, Cecile (Gilbert) of Kensington, Michel (Debbie) of S.t Raphael, Albert (Mary) of Middleton, Paulette (Melvin) of Mont Carmel, Simon (Cindy) of Cambridge,Ont., and Pierre (Rhonda) of Slemon Park. Eva is also survived by her in-laws Frances (Den) Robbins of Orleans, Ont., John (Viola) Arsenault of Pictou, N.S.,Leona (Bill) McNeil of Summerside, Loretta (Albain) Arsenault of Maximeville, Jeanette (Ron) of Moffat, Ont., Carmella (Dick) Lubbersen of Abram Village, Louise (Aubin) Arsenault of Abram Village, Georges Arsenault of Charlottetown, Donna (Maurice) Gallant of Dartmouth, N.S., and Noella (Vaughn) Horton of Winsloe. Also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her father, Eva was predeceased by her mother-in-law Aldine, father-in-law John and brothers-in-law Ronnie and Leo. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville until Tuesday, then to Notre Dame du Mont Carmel church in Mont Carmel for funeral mass at 6:00 p.m. Interment to take place at St. Philippe & St. Jacques Church cemetery. Memorial donations in Eva’s memory to her daughter Brielle’s educational fund, to the P.E.I. Cancer Society or le fond de Feducie de l’Ecole Evangeline would be greatly appreciated. Visitation shall be received on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.and on Tuesday from 4:15 p.m. to time of funeral.
