Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Richard McCarthy, age 72 years was predeceased by his parents, Thomas (1980) and Nellie (nee Johnson) (1996) as well as his brother, Adrian (2013). Richard leaves to mourn his sisters, Mary (Bern) Cahill and Kay (Dale) Sudom; brothers, Justin and Steve (Maureen); sister-in-law, Linda McCarthy; many nieces and one nephew; grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Special thanks to the staff of the MSICU at the Health Sciences Centre. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Cremation has taken place. Visitation on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 10am-2pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 3pm from Caul’s Chapel. Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard’s memory may be made to the Gathering Place.
